In the innovator theory, seniors are always part of the late majority. The baby boomer generation (known domestically as the "Dankai Generation") were born and raised in the analog era, and are digital immigrants who moved to the digital world as adults.
Just when it seemed they had finally overcome the chasm of using a mouse and keyboard to operate a computer, they were confused by the second chasm of smartphone touchscreens, and it has only been in the last one or two years that half of seniors have finally overcome the second chasm.
Currently, bridge technology (bridging analog to digital) that assumes it cannot be operated coexists with a time machine structure that brings a delayed influx of services that are exactly the same as those for the younger generation.
This report focuses on active seniors, who far outnumber care seniors in terms of their clear profitability, and explores the world of digital technology that is being born from their locations and needs.
