Rich viewing experience

In this day and age, when everyone has their own viewing device, we still choose to gather for public viewings. This is exactly the same as the street TV scenes of half a century ago. Sporting events and live content in particular offer a high level of empathy through shared viewing, and this was already possible half a century ago (or, more accurately, when there were no other options).
