The Corona Shock and the Lehman Shock
The cause of the Lehman Shock was a flaw in the financial system, and it took five to seven years for the economy to recover. However, the COVID-19 shock was a "forced halt to demand" to prevent infection, and the rebound demand after the halt successfully normalized the economy in about six months. This is a precedent set by the UK, and I hope it will be Japan's future.
